Hey everyone this is a lil background story and current summary of events that even got me to where I am now.  On August 18, 2024 I was at the beach with a friend in the Town of Palm Beach and it was sweltering hot so I decided to take my shirt off. This hotel manager lady comes up to us and directs me to put my top back on. Mind you I was on public beach access the entire time and not on hotel property. I said no and she wasn’t having it and I told her to call the police because I don’t believe I’m doing anything wrong. 10 min later police arrive and are harassing my friend and waiting for me to exit the Atlantic Ocean. Both officers are extremely rude and deny me my constitutional rights and tell me that I am not allowed to be topless and that if they are wrong, I can sue them in court later. The other officer says that I cannot be topless because it doesn’t say that in the code of ordinances.  I decided I had enough and even though the cop said if I put my top on I am free to go ( which I did) I still ended up being arrested. I was charged with Indecent Exposure, Resisting Arrest without Violence, and False Identification. I spent 24hrs in jail and then I was released on my own cognizance.

I ended up sending a motion to dismiss to the court and the Indecent Exposure charge is dropped and a disorderly conduct is replaced with it instead which was not on my original arrest report. I had 13 more hearings in which so much unnecessary time was wasted on trying to get me to take a plea deal, but I wouldn’t budge. There is no way I am going to agree that my body is illegal. No lawyer would take my case and go to trial with me as they only wanted a deferment. I had no plans of accepting one. I finally was given a trial date on March 11, 2025, well past my right to a speedy trial. During these hearings I was forced to have a mental health evaluation as they did not deem me to be fit for trial and wanted to do some sketchy things. I passed the examination and then requested my jury trial.

I show up to my trial date prepped with all the codes, case law, and constitutional provisions that would ensure my victory along with the body cam footage showing no damaged or injured party, and the nonsense the police had spoken. The arresting officer never shows up and my trial begins. Judge Ashley Zuckerman violated my constitutional rights more times than I can even count, and when the prosecutor went to hand out papers to the jury that was allowed and when I went to show them evidence I was denied. Any time I tried to speak the other prosecutor would immediately yell “objection” and the judge would agree and forbid me to speak further. Then the judge kicked everybody out of the courtroom and told me that I cannot play body cam footage with volume for the jury that I had already filed and gotten approval from the clerk. She threatened me with contempt of court which I didn’t really know what that was at the time. Then everybody was allowed back in and I went to play the video that the prosecutor had muted for me without my consent. Someone in the jury spoke up and asked if I could turn the volume up because they couldn’t hear the interactions. I replied that the judge forced me to play the volume on mute so you all wouldn’t hear what happened. Then the judge halted everything and kicked everyone back out and went to belittle me behind closed doors, and at this point I lost my cool and said out loud “I don’t understand why my constitutional rights keep getting violated, I’m tired of this fucking circus.” I immediately got hand cuffed and taken to jail. Mind you prior to me finally exploding I had been tormented by the judge and her staff from day 1 so I finally just had enough. In hindsight I realized that was their best tactic was to get me to act out of character so they could frame me as the belligerent, combative individual to have a valid reason to lock me up so I wouldn’t win my case.

I ended up spending 45 days in jail, which was awful. It was certainly humbling and it was eye opening to see what exactly goes on behind the scenes. None of the other inmates believed that the reason I was locked up was because I took my shirt off at the beach. Nonetheless I survived my incarceration and spent my time in jail diligently studying and taking notes on the kiosk about federal rules of appellate procedure so that I could figure out what remedies I possibly still had once I got out.

I am released from jail at midnight on April 27, 2025, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have my parents waiting in the parking lot with a pub sub for me. I was to head to my probation officer within 48 hours of my release and complete 8hrs of anger management class, 100 hrs of community service, write an APOLOGAY letter to the palm beach police department (I kid you not that’s how they wrote it on my paper). I also had court fees, probation fees, and monthly checkups with my probation officer.

I decided to file an appeal and mustered the strength to figure it out on my own because jail brain is a thing. I signed up to be indigent and was approved to my dismay and was also appointed a public pretender as well.

I was anxious throughout the whole appeal because of being on probation and not knowing what the outcome of would be this all. My counsel brought a lot of good points up that I was not aware of but also, he confided in me that because he works for the state he is not allowed to raise certain defenses/ arguments. I felt cheated in that sense but also was confident with all the case law from Florida and throughout the other states that I had nothing to worry about.

I am forever grateful that the American Association of Nude Recreation filed an Amicus Curiae on my behalf. It was very powerful and to be used as additional leverage for my case showing more reasons why my conviction should reversed.

Come May 7th, 2026, I was given a Per curiam decision with no written opinion nor explanation as to why it was denied. I find that to be super unprofessional, but I guess the appellate courts are allowed to operate like that. My public defender notified me by email of my options I still have available to further my post-conviction solutions should I choose to pursue them.

I had my public defender file a motion to withdraw from my case and I determined it was best for me to move forward pro se. I wrote a motion to request a written opinion and certification of questions of great public importance on May 21 2026.
